Mondelēz World Travel Retail (WTR) is the dynamic global business unit responsible for driving sales in the specialist travel retail channel. Operating in premium retail environments, Mondelēz WTR takes an innovative approach to brands such as Toblerone, Milka, Cadbury and Oreo for best representation in airports, border stores, ferries and in-flight.
The Perfect Store and Area Manager is a new position in the Travel Retail business unit within the Customer Marketing team. This position will lead the Brand Ambassadors at the assigned airports and will also ensure the Perfect Store execution at the POS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Field team to achieve execution targets at the POS (timing, and quality)
• In charge of the recruitment, training, assessment and development of Brand Ambassadors.
• Build in situ capabilities of our Brand Ambassadors (knowledge of the brands and products, selling capabilities, 5S methodology, and executional excellence)
• Manage the assigned budget, ensuring effective allocation and spend tracking.
• In charge of optimizing coverage of Brand Ambassadors throughout the stores.
• Define tactical local plans to maximize sales and consumer experience.
• Coordinate POS reporting, and proper data collection on share of space, visibility, competition, execution, planogram and MSL compliance.
• Frequent visits to the stores and high level of contact with the teams (60%-80% of travelling).
• Work very close with Customer Marketing Executives and Brand Development Managers to align on priorities, KPIs and execution depending on the targets and needs for the specific stores.
Requirements:
• University degree, marketing/business training courses or diploma.
• Min. 3 years’ experience in the FMCG/CPG market preferred.
• Experience in a cross-cultural multinational environment and remote environment.
• Experience in working with field force in different areas like Field management, sales excellence, category planning, Trade Marketing, or Perfect store.
• Shopper and store knowledge.
• Drive for Results and able to perform with autonomy.
• Priority setting and process management.
• High Communication and presentation skills, motivating and inspiring.
• English written and spoken is mandatory (C1-C2). Local/Additional languages are a plus.
