Purpose of Role: To develop new business within PT. Freeport Indonesia area and its surrounding area with current product offering and maintain accurate machine - fitment population to ensure sufficient inventory is kept to maximise customer satisfaction.

As an Area Manager you will be responsible for identifying new marketing opportunities and developing strategies to convert these into actions. You will also be required to perform onsite and workshop-based inspections and provide technical advice to optimise ESCO product performance.
 
Candidate must be willing to relocate to Papua.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide world class customer and product support in capital products and aftermarket wear solutions with a high level of professionalism

Perform onsite and workshop-based inspections and providing technical advice to optimize ESCO product performance

Demonstrate a strong degree of mechanical aptitude; Prepare high level correspondence and quality tender responses and manage contractual processes as per company policy.

Develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts, initiate new business and grow existing business through team and individual selling efforts.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mining, Mineral Processing, or equivalent industry experience in a related field.

In-depth knowledge of the mining sector in the Papua region, with specific expertise in underground mining operations and metal recycling processes.

Demonstrated success in managing key customer accounts and driving new business development initiatives.

Be proactive and self-motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.

Posses exceptional time management, communication, and negotiation skills.

Have a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and ethical conduct.

Comfortable working independently while also thriving in collaborative team environments.
