\nThe WelbeHealth Area Manager, Transportation oversees transportation operations for multiple WelbeHealth centers, particularly managing dispatching, scheduling, transportation supervisors, and performance on key market operational metrics.
\nEssential Job Duties:
\n\nManage direct reports including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring, and oversee transportation service scheduling and driver supervision, ensuring efficiency and high customer satisfaction\nApply for and maintain DOT certifications and registrations\nMonitor DOT-DMV Pull Notice reports in Accurate and SambaSafety Qorta\nRespond to any incidents according to training, policies, procedures\nMonitor and improve the performance of all markets on key operational metrics, as well as monitor vehicle safety compliance, including but not limited to vehicle safety checks and verification of vendor compliance with vehicle inspection and maintenance schedules\nFacilitate market-based meetings with leadership to align with WelbeHealth’s strategies and goals\nEffectively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings including preparation, active engagement, and timely follow-up\n\nJob Requirements:
\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalency required; some college preferred\nCurrent valid state driver’s license and copy of most recent vehicle insurance required; must have a driver’s license for at least five (5) years with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years\nIn the event of future operational changes, you may be notified and WelbeHealth may require you to obtain a Passenger (P) Endorsement on your driver’s license for the classification of a passenger transportation vehicle\nMust participate in the DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances programs, pass DOJ/FBI background check, and pass DOT physical exam\nMinimum of six (6) years of work experience in a public/private transportation setting\nMinimum of one (1) year of experience with a frail or elderly population\nFour (4) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members\n\nBenefits of Working at WelbeHealth: Apply your expertise in new ways as we rapidly expand.
