The WelbeHealth Area Manager, Transportation oversees transportation operations for multiple WelbeHealth centers, particularly managing dispatching, scheduling, transportation supervisors, and performance on key market operational metrics.
Essential Job Duties:
Manage direct reports including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring, and oversee transportation service scheduling and driver supervision, ensuring efficiency and high customer satisfaction Apply for and maintain DOT certifications and registrations Monitor DOT-DMV Pull Notice reports in Accurate and SambaSafety Qorta Respond to any incidents according to training, policies, procedures Monitor and improve the performance of all markets on key operational metrics, as well as monitor vehicle safety compliance, including but not limited to vehicle safety checks and verification of vendor compliance with vehicle inspection and maintenance schedules Facilitate market-based meetings with leadership to align with WelbeHealth’s strategies and goals Effectively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings including preparation, active engagement, and timely follow-upJob Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency required; some college preferred Current valid state driver’s license and copy of most recent vehicle insurance required; must have a driver’s license for at least five (5) years with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years In the event of future operational changes, you may be notified and WelbeHealth may require you to obtain a Passenger (P) Endorsement on your driver’s license for the classification of a passenger transportation vehicle Must participate in the DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances programs, pass DOJ/FBI background check, and pass DOT physical exam Minimum of six (6) years of work experience in a public/private transportation setting Minimum of one (1) year of experience with a frail or elderly population Four (4) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team membersBenefits of Working at WelbeHealth: Apply your expertise in new ways as we rapidly expand.
