Location/Division Specific InformationManaged Services, a segment supporting Customer Channels Group, improves supply chain and research operations at customer locations.
The position is focused primarily on scientific support services within Managed Services core offerings of stockroom and point-of-use inventory management, sourcing and order management, dock management, and laboratory support services.
Position Summary:Lead our onsite services teams in the UK, to provide excellent services to our customers, while, maintaining relationships with strategic customers.
Essential Functions:Direct team of service professionals at multiple customer sites. Monitor service delivery, review performance, and improve service offerings.Responsible for the day to management and development of staff, covering inventory management, chemical management, glassware washing, media prep, dock management etc.Analyze strategic account needs and make business recommendations to ensure service program growth, expansion and program renewal.Proactively perform senior stakeholder-level customer reviews /surveys, and present findings to management; supervise completion of agreed actions.Quantify value creation for the customer through detailed data collection and reporting. Ensure that reporting is presented in a comprehensive and coordinated fashion.Lead all performance measurements to optimize the customer’s perceptions. Includes management of inventory (over/under stocked items), customer scorecard review, talent assessment, resolving variances, and distribution of customer metrics throughout the organization. Attend and participate in quarterly business reviews at client sites.Develop goals and objectives along with an internal support plan to meet all Key/Strategic Customer performance expectations and requirements.Meet or exceed sales revenue, growth and profitability goals.Assist with other duties as assigned that help company growth.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements (Thermo Fisher and Customer) are met for all employees.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven track record with biotech and/or pharmaceutical national accounts managing products and services.Experience working at a management level in a matrixed structure.Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills, along with excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of organizational change management.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.Previous experience in collaborating with competitors to deliver a unified solution to customers.Demonstrated expertise in effective people management and team leadership.Essential
