WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Area Controller, you will play a key role in driving sales and profit goals across your designated area, ensuring that stores provide an exceptional customer experience. Acting as a leader with a strong analytical focus, you will coach and support the Area Team and store management on controlling topics, enabling business growth. Your role will also involve ensuring that operations comply with legal requirements, H&M standards, policies, and procedures, to meet the expectations of both customers and colleagues.

You will:

Define action plans in line with country goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Monitor and analyze commercial KPIs (e.g., visitors, conversion rate, average purchase) and identify commercial opportunities with the Area Team.Perform monthly Profit & Loss analysis, focusing on sales, salaries, other costs, and profit development compared to budget and previous years, taking action to improve results.Proactively forecast sales and salary cost development, collaborating with the Area Team to implement necessary actions to boost profitability.Regularly visit stores to ensure accurate scheduling and the effective execution of daily plans.Coach store management on creating strong store operations, efficiency, and an excellent customer experience.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As part of the Area Team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Store Management, the Country Controller, HR, and Merchandising. You will work closely with the team to ensure that all stores in your area perform at their best and that operational strategies are in line with country goals.

You will also partner with the Area Team to identify, develop, and train talent, helping to foster a collaborative environment where performance can thrive.

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people who...

have completed a degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Finance etc. or have relevant professional experience, ideally in retail, FMCG, banking or similar industries.possess advanced skills in Excel and skills in Power BIare proficient in English (mandatory) and Dutch (a plus).
