Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO​ 

As Area Block Manager, you will report to Area Manager, and you will implement together, Company’s strategy and goals in area of Croatia, Albania & Kosovo. You will take part in setting a strategy in line with country goals to maximize Sales and Profit in your Area. Together with the Area team, you will support the store teams to create the best shopping experience, always meeting the expectations of customers and colleagues, as well as following H&M procedures and standards, will be a given for you. You will work with succession planning, talent, leadership development and structured performance management for your Store Managers based on results, values and leadership. 

You will: 

Regularly analyze and follow up your Area’s Sales & Profit KPIs and take actions accordingly to maximize results.  Ensure that Stores’ scheduling maximizes conversion within the frame of the hours plan, together with the Area Controller. Prioritize actions that have a clear impact on selling together with the Area Team.  Work collaboratively with other stakeholders and Area Team on store operations, store layout, and product range optimization to improve overall efficiency and customer experience. Monitor competitor landscape, potential risks, threats, and opportunities and together with relevant Support Office functions take actions accordingly.   Actively involved in crisis management related to the stores of your area. Collaborate with Area HR to build and develop great teams. Focus on succession planning, talent and leadership development, and structured performance management aligned with results, values, and leadership principles. 

​WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

As  Area Block Manager, you will play a vital role within the Area Team for Croatia, Albania, and Kosovo. Working closely with the Area Manager, you will collaborate on setting strategic goals for your area. You will support and coach Store Managers to maximize profitability in your area while ensuring compliance with employee relations, legal requirements, and H&M policies. Alongside the Area Team, you will implement initiatives to boost profit, maintaining a balance between long and short-term planning.  

WHO YOU ARE​

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role with proven delivery of business results. 

Strong commercial vision to set a strategy to maximize sales and profitability in your area 

Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written.

Clear and inspiring in communication with excellent organizational and time management skills 

Result driven and able to drive goals forward with a proactive mindset
