Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the University Archivist, the Archives and Records Management Officer supports the activities of the Archives, to ensure updated archival and records procedures and practices, and provides professional services to the Archives unit. Analyse, interpret and apply Archives and Records management regulations, policies and guidelines. Develop and implement retention schedules, managing the retrieval of records and maintaining the integrity of the records management system. Liaison and collaborate with other University units

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in Archives, Information Studies or Library Studies,
or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education
and experience
- Five (5) years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a
related field
- Demonstrated customer relation and negotiation skills
- Proven experience in staff supervision
