Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is actively seeking a talented Architecture Designer for immediate employment in our Baltimore, MD office. We have exciting opportunities for significant Transportation projects. Applicants should have had exposure to heavy and light rail station and maintenance facility projects. The responsibilities of the Architecture Designer will include but are not limited to: + Report to the Supervising Architect. + Perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets. + Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations and liaise with design and drafting groups. + Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables including drawings as required. + Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. + May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel. **AECOM’s Buildings + Places** practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture. Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, Unilever, Sony Music, DirecTV, Box, Inc., and many Fortune 500 companies. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field and two plus years in architecture experience covering aspects of building design including survey, design development, construction documents, construction administration or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education. + Must be experienced in AutoCAD 2010 (or higher version) and Autodesk Revit 2014 (or higher version). **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience working in large and complex projects/programs. + Experience with transportation agencies/projects. + Demonstrate enthusiasm, highly motivated and detail oriented. + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
