Job Title: Architectural Project Coordinator
Job Description
The Architectural Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating construction projects by effectively communicating between contractors, architects, engineers, and project owners to ensure timely project completion and compliance with contract documents.
Responsibilities
+ Review shop drawings and submittals.
+ Perform job site inspections and observations.
+ Attend project meetings.
+ Review construction plans prior to bidding.
+ Process construction changes, including ASIs, requests for change orders, and change orders.
+ Review and process contractor pay applications.
+ Attend internal company meetings.
+ Organize all project construction administration documentation both electronically and physically.
+ Review closeout documents, including O&M manuals and as-built drawings.
Essential Skills
+ Strong problem-solving abilities.
+ Comprehensive architectural knowledge.
+ Knowledge of MEP design.
+ Ability to read and understand construction documents, including plans and specifications.
+ Capability to manage several projects simultaneously.
+ Ability to work under pressure.
+ Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ General knowledge of Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical design.
+ Assertiveness to ensure construction methods meet the design intent.
Work Environment
Work alongside two project coordinators in a 40-hour workweek with flexible hours. The dress code is business casual, with jeans and a company shirt permitted on Fridays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr.
