Job Description
As an Architectural Designer, you will play a key role in the design and development of a wide range of projects. This position is primarily remote, based in Boise, and will involve close collaboration with our California headquarters. You will be responsible for supporting project development from concept through construction documentation, with a strong emphasis on design quality, technical problem-solving, and code compliance. You will be working on projects within light industrial flex buildings, fire stations, and multifamily townhouse projects. The ideal candidate can take a raw piece of land, understand the zoning and accessibility requirements, and design the project accordingly without needing extensive training.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop construction documents and permit sets from schematic design through construction.Conduct code research and ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations.Collaborate with the project team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective designs.Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and other design software.Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (nice to have).5-7 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in a small firm environment.Experience in industrial, fire station, and multifamily project types.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $36.05/hr.
