New and Exciting Opportunities for High End Residential Architects in NYC!

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect with intermediate experience to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in producing detailed drawings and coordinating with structural and MEP consultants. Our projects range from gut renovations of high end residential homes to new ground-up single family homes, with aggressive timelines aimed at summer readiness.

ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed drawing sets for high-end residential projects.Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants, integrating their drawings into the design.Engage in client and consultant interactions to ensure project alignment.Participate in construction administration with opportunities for weekly site visits.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with frequently used design software.4-5 years of experience in architectural design, focusing on high-end residential detailing.Ability to collaborate with clients and consultants effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, preferably with a classical education from institutions like Notre Dame, Miami, or Yale.Experience with new construction, including wood frame or steel/concrete builds.Strong project management and construction administration skills.Work Environment

This role requires 100% on-site presence in a collaborative open studio environment, equipped with towers and dual monitors. Working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, with adjusted summer hours from Memorial Day to Labor Day: Monday to Thursday until 7 PM, and Fridays ending at 1 PM. We offer structured onboarding and support continuing education, covering 50% of ARE test costs and providing digital study materials. Our design philosophy blends traditional and modern architecture, fostering a team culture of design reviews and collaborative learning.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
