Key Responsibilities: + Manage Accounts Receivable Processes: Oversee all aspects of the AR function, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment collections, and reconciliation of accounts. Take full ownership of AR processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy. + Collaborate with Suppliers and Builders: Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and builders across the U.S., fostering strong relationships and maintaining open lines of communication to resolve disputes or payment issues promptly. + Design and Improve Processes: Build and implement a best-in-class AR process by leveraging your expertise and creativity. You’ll have the autonomy to design workflows and solutions that align with business goals and optimize cash flow management. + Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze AR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Provide detailed monthly AR reports and insights to the CFO and other relevant stakeholders. + Support Senior Leadership: Work closely with the CFO to take on critical tasks and optimize functions within the finance department, freeing up bandwidth for strategic initiatives. + Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and audit requirements related to billing and collections. + Growth-Oriented Responsibilities: As the role grows, you will have the potential to take on broader financial responsibilities and strategic initiatives alongside senior leadership. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably within construction, real estate, or related industries. • Proficiency in accounting software systems, ERP solutions, and advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables. • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with builders, suppliers, and internal teams. • Familiarity with construction billing practices, lien releases, and payment applications. • Certifications such as Certified Construction Industry Financial Specialist or similar credentials are a plus. • Ability to resolve payment disputes with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
