Description
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our team in the Goodyear area. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounts receivable experience and proficiency in QuickBooks OR Sage to manage and streamline our AR processes effectively. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing organization that values attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. The selected candidate must be able to pass a background check and demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Invoice Management: Create and distribute invoices to customers using QuickBooks OR Sage.
+ Payment Processing: Record, track, and reconcile incoming payments in compliance with company policies.
+ Customer Account Management: Maintain up-to-date records on customer accounts, including credits and payment adjustments.
+ Aging Report and Collections: Monitor and manage aging reports to minimize overdue accounts, engage in collection efforts, and resolve outstanding balances professionally.
+ Reconciliation and Reporting: Ensure accurate reconciliation of AR accounts and prepare periodic financial reports for management review.
+ Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve customer discrepancies efficiently, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth resolution process.
+ Audit Support: Assist with audits by providing all necessary documentation and reports related to accounts receivable.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
+ Experience: At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience required; experience with QuickBooks OR Sage is mandatory.
+ Skills:
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks OR Sage for AR processes and reporting.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools is preferred.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
Requirements:
+ Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment.
+ This is a temp-to-hire position requiring full-time availability.
+ Reliable transportation to the Goodyear area is necessary.
