Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking an AR Specialist. Responsibilities: * Maintain up-to-date billing system * The AR Specialist will embrace and coach customer adoption of online biller portal * Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines * Reconciliation of accounts with quick resolution * Collect data and prepare monthly metrics * Maintain sales tax tables and ensure appropriate ancillary charges are included on invoices * Prepare manual invoices when needed * Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc. * Process A/R adjustments, as necessary * Communicating with customers via phone, email, mail or personally * Develop a relationship with customers, understanding their needs, payment habits and business * The AR Specialist will assist with month-end closing * Additional duties as requested or required
