AR Research Manager

Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible. **Position Summary:** The Accounts Receivable (AR) Research Manager will lead and oversee a team of 8 AR Research Specialists dedicated to resolving invoice discrepancies caused by pricing and quantity mismatches against customer Purchase Orders. This role is critical to accelerating issue resolution, ensuring accurate invoicing, and driving improved cash collections. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with strong analytical skills, proven experience managing teams, and the ability to partner effectively across internal departments and with external customers. **Essential Functions:** + Manage, train, develop, and mentor a team of 8 AR Research Specialists. + Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. + Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and career development opportunities. + Oversee the timely resolution of invoice discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, and other Purchase Order mismatches. + Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure quick turnaround of issues and continuous improvement in processes. + Ensure corrected invoices are delivered to customers promptly to support increased cash collections. + Partner with customers, sales, pricing, and other internal departments to identify root causes of discrepancies and implement sustainable solutions. + Drive process improvements and efficiency gains across the invoicing and AR research function. + Act as the primary escalation point for complex invoice discrepancy issues. + Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze trends, track team performance, and provide actionable insights. + Prepare and present reporting on issue resolution, team productivity, and financial impact to leadership. + Recommend process enhancements based on data-driven analysis. + Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. + Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role. + Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties. _Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these_ essential _functions._ **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred). + 10+ years of experience in management roles, with a strong record of leading high-performing teams. + Expertise in Accounts Receivable, billing, or related financial operations, with deep knowledge of invoice discrepancy resolution. + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis, reporting automation). + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders. + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. **Physical Demands** **:** The physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. + Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl + Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds + Required to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus **Our Values** **:** Our Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven. + **Passionate about Innovation** : Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
