Description Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk with a strong background in collections to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. If you're ready to take on a key role in ensuring the financial health of a dynamic organization, we encourage you to apply! + Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including preparing, posting, and reconciling customer invoices. + Generate, process, and apply credit memos to customer accounts. + Conduct proactive collection follow-ups via phone and email to ensure timely payments. + Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to outstanding invoices or account balances. + Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer communication and payment activity in the AR system. + Provide exceptional customer service support, acting as the primary point of contact for AR-related inquiries. + Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service) to address billing disputes or payment delays. + Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations, ensuring AR ledger accuracy. Requirements + Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable experience, including credit memo processing and collections. + Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience). + Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, SAP) and Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). + Knowledge of AR principles, aging reports, and reconciliation processes. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer and team interactions. + Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure. + Familiarity with billing in [specific industry] is a plus but not required.
