This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building embecta's European finance function as we expand our presence across the region. In this role, you’ll bring your hands-on **SAP experience** and **accounts payable/receivable expertise** , along with an understanding of local finance practices in the EU. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic finance topics with day-to-day transactional tasks. **Key Responsibilities** + Support and execute accounting operations across accounts payable and receivable + Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions in SAP S/4 HANA and Blackline + Maintain compliance with GAAP and local EU regulatory requirements + Operate within SOX/internal controls frameworks, ensuring full adherence + Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and other balance sheet items, including subledgers + Identify and drive improvements in processes and systems + Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits + Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth financial workflows and data integrity **Who You Are** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business + Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational finance environment + Strong working knowledge of SAP (S/4 HANA), Excel, Power BI, Blackline, and Concur + Experience working with SOX or other internal control frameworks is essential + Comfortable managing both operational tasks and contributing to process design + Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment + Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English + Culturally aware, and confident working with global teams and outsourced providers At **embecta** , we are building something meaningful — a finance function that supports our mission of advancing care for people with diabetes.
