Job Description

Position Summary

The Aquatic Engineer is responsible for the entire design process from Schematic Design through Construction Administration to Grand Opening of new facilities.  Will design the aquatic components of new facilities in accordance with local jurisdictional requirements on prototype projects and unique tenant improvement projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Code Review and interpretation, coordination with jurisdictional authoritiesModeling pool structure, accessories, and mechanical systems in Revit softwareEquipment selection and sizingCoordination with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplinesCoordination with Life Time ConstructionReview installing contractor submittal data and Requests for InformationOn site construction observation and reporting

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering Design with 10+ years’ experience.3+ years' experience

Professional Engineer LicenseProficiency with Revit softwareProficiency with Microsoft Office softwareProficiency with Bluebeam Revu softwareThorough understanding of fluid mechanicsUnderstanding of water chemistry

PayThis is a salaried position starting at $64,000.00 and pays up to $88,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
