We are seeking an experienced and pro-active professional to ensure seamless compliance with International ISO and European CE legislation and standards, safeguarding our business continuity.

You will be accountable for driving the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of both new and existing approval documents. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
**Strategic Compliance Leadership:** Develop and implement a (strategic) plan to acquire necessary factory, product, and process approvals in alignment with Global Product Company goals, ensuring compliance with European (CE Directives) and International (ISO) legislation and standards.
**Legislative Insight and Implementation:** Expertly interpret applicable legislation to devise a tailored implementation strategy, encompassing all relevant products and ensuring adherence to applicable standards.
**Quality Management** : Design, implement, and sustain quality management procedures that meet legal requirements, including ATEX, IECEx, PED, and MID.
**Approvals and Certifications:** Obtain and manage the necessary approvals, declarations, and certifications for products and processes.
**Policy Oversight:** Lead the development, application, and revision of European Measurement Solutions policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legislation.
**Customer Support:** Provide guidance to both internal and external customers regarding European and International legislation and the associated standards and approvals.
**Audit Coordination:** Coordinate and facilitate external audits led by Notified Bodies (DNV, TÜV, NMi, CSA, DEKRA) and other professional agencies, ensuring thorough preparedness and compliance.
**Training and Knowledge Expansion:** Organize and oversee Approvals training sessions for employees across all departments, promoting knowledge growth within the Ede site.
**Collaborative Improvement:** Work in partnership with other Measurement Solutions sites to align strategies, drive continuous improvements, and offer guidance and support.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Engage with Legal, Trade Compliance, and other regulatory teams to address agreements with Notified Bodies/Agencies, facilitate training, and resolve technical product inquiries.

You carefully consider all relevant factors and use appropriate decision-making criteria and principles. You are as comfortable working independently as in a team, fostering collaboration and trust.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Business and technical fluency in English. Additionally having similar proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
+ Proven experience in quality-related functions, focusing on audits, approvals, regulations, and compliance, with proven experience working within a global business environment.
+ Previous successful leadership of improvement and implementation projects.
+ Willingness to travel both locally and regionally, with occasional global trips.
+ Two appropriate references of previous employment and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
+ A strong commitment to quality and compliance standards, excellent organizational and business systems skills.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), onsite position at our Ede location (hybrid working is not available). With a preferred start date of October 1st 2025.
Work Authorization Sponsorship is potentially available for this position, however relocation support is not provided.
