Compensation (Hourly):

$18.00 - $21.00 / hourStart as an hourly apprentice while gaining hands-on dealership experience. After completing the average 6-month apprenticeship period, you’ll be eligible for a raise and move to a flat-rate pay structure with plenty of room to grow your hours and income.

Job Description

The Apprentice Technician supports the service team by performing minor repairs, routine maintenance, and hands-on learning under the guidance of an assigned Master Technician mentor.
This role is designed to build the foundational skills and experience needed to advance into a flat-rate technician position. OEM training and on-the-job mentorship are provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work alongside a Master Technician mentor to learn dealership procedures and technical skillsPerform basic maintenance and minor repairs as outlined on repair ordersAssist with vehicle inspections to identify any additional service needsLearn to diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs under supervisionComplete required OEM online training as part of the apprentice curriculumRequest guidance as needed and maintain an active learning mindset

QualificationsCompletion of an automotive technology program (e.g., UTI, WyoTech, or similar) preferredAbility to work full-time and maintain reliable attendancePrevious shop or dealership experience Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repairValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordWillingness to follow safety procedures and dealership guidelinesMust be authorized to work in the USA and possess a valid driver's license.Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including background check, MVR, and drug screening.
