Responsibilities
Comprehend drawings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissionsUnderstand concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete formsSkilled with traditional, PERI, Aluma and EFCO formworkCheck completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb, and the right size, shape, and locationComplete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and qualityQualifications & Requirements
Provincially recognized journeyperson certification or a be a registered 2-4 Apprentice in CarpentryNon-certified journeypersons must hold a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience Experience working on major infrastructure and bridge projects highly desiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well as part of a team, and meet deadlinesMust pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testValid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year driver’s abstractCSTS-2020 Fundamentals, WHMIS 2015, ESC Fall Protection, Confined Space and Elevated Work Platform (training provided)Work Conditions
