Primary function
The primary function of this position is to provide IT support for monitoring, maintenance, and support of web-based applications built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Java Technologies. The apprentice will work under supervision to troubleshoot basic issues, perform routine updates while gaining hands-on experience in enterprise-level web technologies and support workflows. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with basic programming knowledge and a keen interest in learning Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Web Technologies and enterprise support practices.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining AEM/Java-based applications.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of issues under supervision.
• Document recurring issues and resolutions for knowledge base.
• Collaborate with senior support engineers to escalate and resolve technical problems.
• Participate in training sessions and shadow experienced team members
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Follow IT Service Management (ITSM) processes: incident management, request management to serve end users and maintain high levels of performance in achieving service level agreements.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures always, including, but not limited to: ethics, data protection, information security, human resources, and compliance policies and procedures. Protect both Eaton's physical and information assets.
Position Criteria
• Basic understanding of Java/J2EE concepts.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related web technologies.
• Nice to have: Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Good communication and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow structured processes and document work clearly
• Ability to adapt and learn; to support IT environments that may contain various technology.
Bachelor’s Degree
0 to 2 years IT experience
ITIL foundations certification (Preferred)
