Are you passionate about electrical systems and eager to kickstart a hands-on career in engineering? Join our team as an Apprentice Hardware Technician - Level 3 Starter and gain the skills and experience needed to become a competent Hardware Technician.

This apprenticeship offers a structured training program combining practical experience with academic learning. This will include a day release at college for a national qualification course. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning how to build, wire, and fit electrical control panels and cabinets used in a variety of industrial applications.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Work model: Onsite #LI-Onsite

Panel Assembly – Learn to interpret engineering drawings and build electrical control panels used in industrial applications.

Wiring and Termination – Master the skills to wire control panels accurately and cleanly.

Documentation – Maintain clear and accurate records of assemblies and wiring updates.

Collaboration – Work closely with engineers and team members, supporting projects both in-house and on-site.

Safety and Compliance – Follow all health and safety procedures during every stage of the build.

Qualifications for the Role

A genuine interest in electrical engineering and hands-on work

Basic computer literacy

Good communication skills and a professional attitude

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Willingness to support onshore and offshore projects (training provided)

Any prior experience with tools or electrical work (e.g., school projects, hobbies)

Awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
