Electra Lift concentrates on individually tailored packages that accommodate the needs of our diverse client base, which includes strata buildings, commercial premises, hospitals, shopping centers, and sporting complexes.

We are currently seeking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year apprentices to join us in Electrical and Mechanical Trades apprenticeships starting from January 2024.

About your role

Our apprentices are trained in the Installation, Modernization, Service, and Repair of Lifts, Escalators, and Travelators.

You will get to work closely with our customers and develop exceptional customer service skills.

You will gain maximum exposure to the business by rotating between the Service and Construction businesses throughout the life of your apprenticeship, learning the roles of a lift electrician and mechanic.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain exposure to completing the installation, modernization, repairs, and maintenance of escalators, elevators, and travelators.

As an Apprentice at Otis, here’s what you will need

Hold Electrical and Mechanical apprenticeships or completion of relevant pre-apprentice qualifications.

Have a minimum of Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent.

Must be a permanent resident, citizen, or relevant visa holder with full working rights in Australia.

Be a self-starter with a strong passion for innovation and a willingness to learn.

Having previous experience in the elevator industry will be an added advantage.

Keen interest in developing a long-term career within the elevator industry.
