We are seeking Utility Workers and Food Service Workers for temporary positions at a dining facility in Orono, ME. These roles are essential in supporting kitchen and dining operations, ensuring meals are prepared, served, and enjoyed in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Open Roles:
Utility Worker

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and trash areas

Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries

Support staff to keep operations running smoothly

Food Service Worker

Assist with food preparation and meal service in dining halls

Provide friendly customer service to students, staff, and faculty

Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas

Restock supplies and keep workstations organized
The ideal candidates will have:
Previous experience in food service, custodial, or kitchen roles (preferred, not required)

Ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled

Teamwork, communication, and customer service skills

A reliable and flexible attitude in a fast-paced environment

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for long periods
