We're looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of electrical/mechanical engineers focused on business growth. In this pivotal role, you'll be a working manager, directly contributing to our business growth by managing and quoting projects for key customers, while also being responsible for the overall success and development of your team.

You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Take ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, including hiring top electrical engineering talent, conducting performance reviews, and managing any necessary terminations with professionalism and compliance. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities to help your team members grow their skills and careers. Foster a supportive and inclusive team environment where all members feel valued and empowered.Technical Contribution & Support:
Provide technical guidance and expertise to your team, helping them overcome challenges and make sound design and architectural decisions for electrical systems. Collaborate with product managers, project managers, order engineering, and other stakeholders to support and ensure successful project delivery.Business Growth & Strategy:
Grow the business supporting sales team and directly interacting with end customer. Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, manufacturing, sales) to align electrical engineering efforts with overall business objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to inform strategic electrical design decisions that impact business growth. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the engineering team and across the organization.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. 5 plus years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 2 plus years in a leadership or management role. Proven track record of successfully managing and mentoring electrical engineering teams. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in power distribution equipment. Experience with full lifecycle recruiting, performance management, and employee relations. Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business drivers and how electrical engineering contributes to growth. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities. Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
Financial knowledge is ideal to make informed decisions and contribute effectively to overall business profitability. Familiarity with contract management and understating risk profile when approving/negotiating potential orders.Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. The pay range for this position is $120,540 - $206,640. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
