What You Will Do

As a Product Application Engineer, you will be the interface between product management, customers, and development.

You will capture product requirements, prepare them for development, and review their subsequent implementation.

You will share your knowledge of new developments with our support departments or with project customers through training.

You should be driven by enthusiasm for our software products (Trimble Access, Trimble Business Center and Trimble Connect) and the underlying modern technologies, as well as a passion for communicating with people.

You will collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.

You will support our product management in solution design workshops, analysis, and understanding of customer needs.

You will conduct testing of new product features and workflows.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Preferably a degree in surveying, geomatics, geography, geodetic engineer or an experienced surveyor.

You have a deep understanding of surveying processes—from data collection to data analysis.

Proficiency with survey data processing (GIS, CAD, Scanning, GNSS, Total Stations, …).

Customer-focused and results-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.

Ability to assess market needs, evaluate options, and document requirements.

Self-starter, goal-oriented, and a collaborative team player.

German and English language proficiency (B1-B2 required).

This position is available in our offices in Brunswick and Stuttgart in hybrid mode or on a full remote basis within Germany. We're excited to offer you a permanent, full-time position (38.5 hours/week) with 30 days of annual leave, where you'll contribute to an inspiring and collaborative work environment.
