Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Applications and Product Engineer to Sustain and / improve product yield, Quality, Reliability, Safety, Legal and Environmental compliance. Transfer new products.

Key responsibilities

The actual KJEs may include all, some or more of the followings:Lead production by resolving material problems & software relatedImprove product yield & qualitySupport new product / variation / ECO activitiesInitiative & drive cost reduction issuesParticipate in employee involvement teamImprove customer satisfaction and reduce linepull / warrantly to meet targetSpecial projectsModify & debug test software (if applicable)Ensure all prints meet the revisionLead in change management process

What we’re looking for

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Schooling: Bachelor/Master Electronics/ Mechatronic Engineering Degree

Experience Time in similar position: 5 years in similar position including strong background of electronics, microprocessor and mechanical assemblies.

Experience using GD&T, mechanical assemblies, gear systems. Knowledge of lab tools like digital oscilloscope, curve tracer, simulators is a plus..

Technical knowledge required:

 Knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through Hole Technology processes: past Long response time from suppliers, Resolve customer application related product problems, Difficulty to access accurate product information – Confidential

Other requirements:

Limited networking & exposure to identify the key areas for upgrading (knowledge, process, equipment).

Travel Availability: Yes     Frequency: Quarterly
