Software Support Specialist
This person will mostly get calls about process questions or areas of the application that stopped working.
This person has to be okay with having a lot coming at them and not always being able to figure out things quickly. Someone who enjoys problem solving and doing their own discovery. They also must be good at working with users to walk the users through how to use the applications and their process questions. Sometimes, you have to take a ticket back later to use documentation, technical aptitude, and partner with software vendors and work in test environments to try to resolve tougher issues.
Someone who is driven, easy-going, desire to dig in and figure out what is wrong.
Needs someone who works well in a grey environment. Can they handle the unexpected.
Support for applications relating to raw materials procurement, orders, machine scheduling, production, product testing, finished goods inventory, invoicing and sales reporting.
Research innovative technologies that can increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Validate system results by writing and executing test cases.
Actively troubleshoot issues with application systems by working with end users, vendors, Tier 2 Support and developers to resolve them.
Retrieve and manage data from various systems.
Implement new workflow solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative options.
Document and train end users on best practices.
Work with a sense of urgency in solving issues, removing roadblocks and improving the user experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience working within manufacturing principles and associated business processes.
Experience using SQL.
Help Desk
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple priorities effectively.
Customer service focus on the ability to positively interact directly with end users.
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
High level of emotional intelligence.
Collaborative team first mentality. Business and goal oriented.
Inquisitive personality with a can-do/positive outlook. In addition to a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast pace, ever changing environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, wellness programs, STD, LTD, life insurance, company matching 401(k) and pension. Green Bay Packaging benefits may vary by position or division.
