Job Summary:
Join the eCommerce team of Cat Digital and be responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring and resolving customer issues in accordance with standards and processes.
Provide application engineering support in the role of a system admin for Parts.cat.com. This person will be responsible for monitoring the application and providing technical support to Parts.cat.com while verifying the integrity and availability of computing resources.

Proficient with HCL WebSphere CommerceExperience with AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, DynamoDB (NoSQL), Lambda, logging/CloudWatch, IAM, Certificate Manager, ELB, EBS, ECS, CloudFront/WAF, SQS, SNS, SES.Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systemsIn-depth experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS)Strong proficiency in Oracle SQLApplication Performance Management (APM), especially AppDynamics, and Synthetic MonitoringPractical experience with Azure DevOpsExpertise with relational databases support, querying and database reportingWorking experience with programming languages: Java, Python, Powershell, SQL and JSONWorking knowledge on deploying autoscaling features Expertise with high availability architectureStrong written and verbal communication5 years of Java, Node.js, Next.js, Docker, Kubernetes experience (but open to .Net/ Python/ Scala) or at least 3 years of experience in with master’s degree in computer science or related field.IT Service Management (ITSM) experienceCloud environment deployment experience – relates to large scale environments, but also “how can we measure and tune” verse guessing at configurations settings, understanding contain builds and how they run in KubernetesUnderstanding system and application memory and CPU patternsUnderstand the data we collect in AppD and Grafana, and be able to answer questions like “are we healthy and stable”?Having strong Linux skills – Being able to access containers, processes, and debug directly on systemseCommerce experience, especially HCL Commerce version 9Expertise in Linux operating systemsExpertise with relational databases support, querying and database reportingKnowledge of secure coding and personal identifiable information (PII) handlingNetwork experience including firewalls and DNSWorking experience with SQL, JSON, and KQLExpertise with high availability architectureAdditional Information:

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
