Application Support Specialist

   

Responsibilities:

Be part in our technical international team which supports

large customer application landscapes, in the German energy and health markets.

Become technically skillful at operating complex applications on various infrastructure solutions.

Be in-depth interested in modern private- and public cloud solutions.

Get to know different customer applications well and be responsible for their technical support and lifecycle management.

Automate processes of customers’ applications in clouds and in our data centers, using common specialist IT solutions (bash, Powershell, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

Advise our customers on technical and functional inquiries regarding their applications and guide solution implementation with partner departments and software vendors.

Take over project coordination in one or more specialized areas.

Requirements:

You are confident in communicating in English: Required for communication across our international locations

(German knowledge is considered as an optional advantage).

Collaborative and creative team player.

Live by ‘can do + I want to really understand this’-attitude.

Technical background (university studies and/or related experience).

Experience in 2nd level IT support and/or software development.

Flexible mindset towards technologically challenging customer requests, wanting to work your way through complex demands.

Enjoy finding solutions within young technologies such as private and public hyperscaler clouds, versions of container management tools (Podman, Docker) and orchestrators (types of Kubernetes).

Previous experiences in SLA compliant application support methods, according to ITIL.

Monthly gross salary from 1500 to 2600 EUR, depending on your level of expertise.
