We are hiring an Application Support Analyst for our Epic Systems and Technical Support team. This team is responsible for site assessments, software builds, (TDR) technical dress rehearsals, device installations, testing and implementations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Epic, incorporating all technical hardware and software components. 

This position requires some on-site work at our locations throughout the health system. 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide ongoing support via ServiceNow, managing incidents and service requests related to team-owned products and services to ensure timely resolution and operational continuityCollaborate with clinicians, SMEs, and IT teams to align device workflows with clinical needs, ensuring a superior end-user experienceAssist with site surveys to evaluate hardware/network requirements and support technical readiness activities, including device labelingAssist with Epic print mapping and technical dress rehearsals (TDRs), validating peripheral devices, print queues, and workstation integrationPerform testing and support for third-party applications (e.g., Dragon, VPSX, BCA), ensuring seamless integration with Epic systemsInstall, configure, and maintain a range of IT hardware and software including mobile devices, scanners, printers, and specialty medical peripheralsCreate clear documentation using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Visio, etc.) to support deployment, issue resolution, and communicationLiaise with cross-disciplinary teams to translate specifications into functional solutions, convert workflows to logical flow charts, and analyze feasibilityValidate software deployments and updates, troubleshoot failures, and retest resolved issues using Epic test scripts and output toolsSupport Epic applications and related technologies (e.g., Rover, Proprio, e-signature devices) with proactive issue tracking and resolution

 

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceCurrent certification in at least one Epic module (with continued certification as a condition of employment)Experience with full software/application implementation lifecycleStrong background in device management (mobile and desktop), hardware configuration, and integrated workflowsFamiliarity with legacy systems and desktop applicationsSkilled in testing methodologies including Epic, UAT, and regression testingHands-on experience with Epic Technical Dress Rehearsals and go-live preparationCritical thinking, analytical, and independent problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication, documentation, organizational, and follow-up skillsAdaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn in fast-paced environmentsAvailability for on-site work and flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends during go-livesMeeting all requirements for Epic certification is a condition of employment
