Scope of role
Our Salesforce team is looking for an Application Specialist who is passionate about enabling all types of users to get the most out of our advanced configuration platform. The right candidate will have a strong blend of communication skills, business acumen and platform knowledge. The right candidate will be energized by managing one or multiple model development projects and owning all of the enhancements, bug fixes, and customizations occurring within it.
Key Responsibilities
In this individual contributor role, you will be working alongside an enthusiastic and talented team with diverse backgrounds, including the Product Owner, Technical Architect, Lead Developer, Sr. Business Analyst and fellow Salesforce Administrators. You will be supporting an environment with over 2,200 users across two business segments. You will be responsible for the Logik.IO model administration, enhancements, maintenance and user requests.
Create and edit product attributes and associated pricing and product rules to arrive at desired configuration while optimizing scalability and end user experience
Advise on software functionality and implementation best practices
Coordinate and collaborate with business stakeholders during ideation and discovery of new model build or enhancements
Advise on CPQ best practices and limitations related to pricing strategy
Facilitate communication between internal and external team members regarding configuration requirements and project status
Willing to learn Salesforce Administrator responsibilities related to CPQ
Support team on complex quote configurations
Assist with reporting related to CPQ and OMS objects
Manage quoting and quote terms approval processes
Troubleshoot and provide solutions to CPQ limitations that may arise with highly specialized or very complex pricing requirements
Provide training and documentation for users and involved stakeholders
Create reports and dashboards to capture metrics such as discounting trends, quote to close velocity, etc
Handle cases, including break/fix, error management, contracts/amendments, and approvals
Provide recommendations for process changes
Mentor other resources as the team expands
Qualifications
Technical Skills Preferred/Required:
Experience with SAP Variant Configurator or Oracle Configurator model development
Preferred Logik.IO hands on model development/build experience
Preferred Salesforce CPQ administration
Preferred expert/advanced Excel skills
Preferred Lightning Platform experience
Preferred Service Cloud experience
Preferred Salesforce Administrator certification and experience
Preferred strong working knowledge of Salesforce platform out-of-the-box functionality, including best practices, security constructs, integration patterns and development options
