If you are looking to join a world leader with a creative and customer centric focus, then Sensient may be for you!  We are seeking a passionate Application Scientist to join our team in developing innovative personal care and cosmetic products.  The ideal candidate will have a background in cosmetic science and hands-on experience formulating and testing personal care and beauty products. 

What You’ll Do: 

Formulate new skin care and personal care formulations to support NPD (New Product Development) launches, including creams, serums, lotions, etc.Research and develop new ingredients and formulations based on market trends and scientific advancements.Prepare samples of skin care, personal care and make-up formulations to support sales team and cosmetic exhibitions.Collaborate with Application Manager to understand project requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Conduct stability testing, product performance evaluations, and ensure product safety.  Provide detailed documentation, reports, and specifications for each project assigned.

What You’ll Bring: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.Previous experience in cosmetic formulation (minimum 1–3 years).Understanding of cosmetic ingredients, their properties, and interactions. Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EU) and safety testing protocols.The ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on time.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
