As the Application Release Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of preserving Minnesota Department of Transportation's vital applications, systems, and services. Using your background in project leadership and Information Technology, your role will be dynamic, involving everything from deployments, enhancements, and migrations on premises Active Directory to the Azure cloud. You'll collaborate with senior project managers, technical staff, and vendors on more complex projects, programs, and portfolios, making a significant impact in Application Preservation Release Coordination services. An Application Release Coordinator plays a crucial role in keeping the systems running that support Minnesota's transportation services. **This position requires an employee to be onsite at¿395 John Ireland Blvd, St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.** Telework (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework.pdf) for Minnesota IT Services is available on a limited basis. **Minimum Qualifications**

Position requires a minimum of two (2) years of IT related experience in information technology, network support, or IT project coordination.
Experience must include:
+ Basic knowledge of Network design, servers, and databases such as authentication/access systems and network applications, SaaS/PaaS, cloud environments.
+ Experience translating technical details for non-technical audiences.
+ Experience supporting network applications, updates, migrations, and modernization.
+ Experience in project tracking and reporting using MS Office applications and other project management tools.
+ Experience developing and managing project timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely task completion.
+ Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
+ Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for two (2) years of experience, OR an IT or related associate’s degree substitutes for one (1) year.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with Network+ and ITIL.
+ Experience managing IT or software development projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
+ Experience working with MNIT, MnDOT, or other public sector agencies.
+ In-depth knowledge of government and commercial cloud platforms and network application management.
+ Proven leadership skills; experience leading cross-functional teams or delivering presentations/training.
+ Experience with business critical project rollout activities. Facilitating meeting and getting work assignments identified.
+ Experience building network applications in the cloud and on premises using virtual machines.
