What you'll do The Application Programmer mainly programs, tests, debugs, and maintains new applications or enhancements to existing applications (mainly Strata, but other applications may apply). Programs, tests, debugs, and maintains new applications or enhancements to existing applications Designs and develops software applications that support internal or external business functions. Uses advanced coding methods to create applications that efficiently and effectively perform specific functions. Recommends technical solutions to complex business problems. Tests component functionality, monitors production application performance, troubleshoots and resolves issues. Develops and maintains internal and end user documentation. Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Handles the most complex issues. Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, within tight time deadlines. Decision Support functions including but not limited to financial analysis and reporting, cost accounting and managerial finance, units of service and productivity reporting/monitoring. Develops and mentors talent utilizing innovative training concepts and problem-solving techniques. Works with teams across the network to ensure data is properly integrated within Decision Support with an emphasis for these teams to validate accuracy and efficacy of the data. Ability to tell a story with data. Data governance to bridge system definitions and analytic solutions What we need from you Education/Qualifications: 4 year/Bachelor degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or a combination of relevant experience and education, required Experience may be considered in lieu of education Experience: At least 10 years of experience in data manipulation and data management required, with a preference for experience in a healthcare setting. At least 7 years of Decision Support Software experience specifically around training, preferred Requires at least 5 years of experience with Strata and/or Infor software Skills: Analysis & Evaluation Attention to Detail Communication Computer Skills Interacting with People Logical Thinking Multi-Tasking Time Management Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. Pay Range Minimum: USD $107,051.67/Yr. Pay Range Maximum: USD $160,577.51/Yr.
