What You’ll Be Responsible For:

As part of the End User Computing (EUC) team, you will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing workstation environments and application deployments. Your role will involve hands-on work with application packaging, device management, and automation scripting, using industry-standard tools like SCCM, Intune, and Flexera Admin Studio/ PowerShell Deployment Toolkit. You’ll contribute to maintaining a secure and efficient desktop environment for end-users, while continuously improving patching compliance and deployment workflows.

Key Responsibilities: Operating System Management

Administer and optimize Windows 10 environments across the organization.

Familiarity with macOS workstation management is a plus.

Application Packaging & Deployment

Package applications using tools like Flexera Admin Studio, PSADT (PowerShell Deployment Toolkit), MSI, and MST.

Distribute software packages via System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.

Perform end-to-end application lifecycle management including building, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Device & Endpoint Management

Manage and maintain desktop and mobile device infrastructure using tools such as:

Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

Microsoft Intune

Windows Autopilot

Azure AD

Third-party MDM tools like VMware AirWatch (for Apple device management)

Schedule and manage security patching for laptops and other client devices.

Configure and monitor client devices for application and OS security vulnerabilities.

Scripting & Automation

Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell, VBScript, and batch to automate routine tasks.

Leverage advanced PowerShell knowledge to streamline endpoint management operations.

Exposure to Microsoft Power Automate and Graph API is a strong plus.

Monitoring & Compliance

Monitor patch compliance KPIs and provide regular reporting to management.

Identify gaps in security patching and lead corrective action plans to ensure compliance targets are met.

What a Typical Day Might Look Like:

Administering and managing deployments through SCCM.

Creating and testing application packages using Admin Studio, then pushing them into production.

Deploying and enforcing security policies via Intune.

Writing automation scripts to support endpoint and software management tasks.

Analyzing patching metrics, reporting KPIs, and implementing actions to address any issues.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support and enhance EUC infrastructure.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

Application Packaging (MSI, MST, PSADT, Admin Studio)

Endpoint Management Tools: SCCM (MECM), Intune, Autopilot

Mobile Device Management: Intune, AirWatch (for iOS/macOS)

Scripting: PowerShell (advanced), VBScript, Batch

Security & Compliance: Patching, reporting, and vulnerability remediation

Bonus: Experience with Power Automate, Microsoft Graph API
