National Instruments Corporation is seeking Application Engineer (4 openings) for its offices in San Jose, CA

 

Job Description:

Understand customer technical requirements. Provide technical recommendations and identify next steps to ensure customer success. Build technical relationships at top accounts, demonstrate personal credibility, and increase customer confidence in NI. Use industry and application knowledge to uncover customer challenges and to influence their design, development, and deployment decisions. Provide internal feedback to enable future NI success. Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to execute technical initiatives. Part-time telecommuting is permitted. Domestic travel required up to 5% of the time. Multiple openings.

 

 

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or similarly related field plus 3 years of experience in an Application or Sales Engineering occupation.

 

The required experience must include the following: 3 years of test and measurement industry experience. One of the three years of experience should include one year of programming experience using text-based languages or LabVIEW.

Work location: 2570 N. First Street, Suite 400, San Jose CA 95131, Annual wage/salary: $147,390.04 - $150,000.
