Application Engineering Manager

As an Application\nEngineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and\nmanaging a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to\nour customers. You will play a critical role in driving the success of our\nproducts and ensuring customer satisfaction. In this role, you will collaborate\nwith cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for business\ngrowth. You will work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and\nprovide technical expertise to support the sales process.

You will report directly to our Regional Business Director, and you will work\nout of our Houston, Texas location on a hybrid work schedule. In the role of an\nApplication Engineering Manager at Honeywell, you will have a significant\nimpact on the success of our organization. You will lead a team of talented\nengineers and play a crucial role in the development and integration of highly\ncomplex application functions within our business unit. Your expertise and\nstrategic direction will drive the execution of projects, ensuring the delivery\nof high-quality products and solutions to our customers.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement application engineering strategies.Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders.Manage project, executions, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application engineering processes and capabilities.Lead and/or support various productivity initiatives in support of revenue and margin growth in the Advanced Solutions Blending and Movements Management business, including the use of and support for low-cost engineering centers and contingent subcontract labor, without dilution of quality.Active\n participation on Blending and Movements Management global business\n team.  Provide sales, proposal and estimating support in support of\n the Advanced Solutions Blending and Movements Management businessActively\n participate and support our global knowledge sharing via Honeywell\n community of practices to seed innovation, ensure technical excellence and\n better practices and to facilitate Advanced Solutions becoming the go-to\n business for clients and employeesActively\n engage employees to deliver sustainable growth paths, optimize workforce\n demographics, meet target bill ability metrics and reward superior\n performanceEmbrace\n continuous improvement setting challenging goals and objectives, and\n manage change in a way that achieves buy in and meets business\n requirementsShare and\n coordinate skills with peers and other internal resources to serve\n customers better and improve productivityParticipate and\nsupport Advanced Solutions Quality system.  Employ quality processes to\nidentify and meet customer requirements for superior service.  Customer\nsatisfaction is a fundamental source of our sustainable competitive advantage
