Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos in Guangzhou** **，** **this is your chance to join us as a** **n** **Application Engineer!** **What is the job about?** The purpose of this position is to accelerate the total water solution business growth in CBS China, focusing on technical support to wastewater and water treatment applications in building sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer solution formulation, project technical support, solution promotion & training, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth **Your main responsibilities:** + Customer Solution Formulation: Formulate the total water solutions to address customer needs regarding the systems of drainage & sewage, stormwater management and water treatment in the building sector, e.g., green buildings, low-carbon campus and transportation infrastructure. These include pumping stations, flood control, water treatment, e.g., chemical dosing, filtration, disinfection, and water reuse. + Technical Proposal Development: Create comprehensive technical proposals that include detailed drawings, hydraulic calculations, technical specifications, control system, and other necessary documentation to meet project requirement and national standards and effectively communicate the proposed solutions to all stakeholders including design institute, contractor, developer and end-user etc. + Technical Implementation Oversight: Directly supervise the technical implementation process, from design through assembly and field activities, in large and complex projects. Conduct site inspection to ensure that all projects are executed according to plan, compliance with design, and meet quality standards. + Solution promotion & training: Provide expert-level technical support on water solution area to both internal teams and external clients, e.g., providing professional opinions, resolving technical issues, conducting system training, and developing sales tools. Participate in promotional activities and events to showcase the company's technical expertise and innovative solutions, e.g., making expert speech. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering functions within the factory and R&D department, especially on complex or advanced systems projects. Support SD, BD and PLM in solution pilot and offering optimization. Collaborate with sales, service and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions into overall business strategies. + **Your background:** **We imagine that you have:** + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, plumbing, environmental engineering or a related field. + Minimum 5 years of experience in design/engineering functions with a pump manufacture, water solution provider, design institute, or similar industry company. + Skilled in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and hydraulic analysis tools. + Proficient project experience in M&E engineering, water solution, and water treatment. + Highly familiar with National codes & standards of design & acceptance. + Experience with prefabricated systems, water reuse, smart water solutions are preferred. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion, meeting deadlines, and achieving project objectives. + Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. + Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, is highly preferred. **We look forward to hearing from you.** Information at a Glance **Job details** Workplace: Hybrid (office and home-working) Job Location: Guangzhou, Guangdong, China Contract Type: Full-Time Employment Type: Regular
