Stellenbeschreibung

We are looking for you, an Application Engineer (m/f/diverse), to support the Precision Sealing Solutions (PSS) in our Business Area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) at the location Northeim.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

Execution and monitoring of project-specific development activities within product application engineeringDevelopment of products according to customer specificationsExecution of the technical, project-specific customer serviceAcquisition of new projects in cooperation with the sales departmentCompletion of all deliverables for Application Engineering specified within the project management system (Quality Gate System)Documentation of all project activities of Application Engineering in the project management system PLANISWAREElaborating/evaluating feasibility checks for RFQ utilizing multidisciplinary teamsSupport for new and change management projects in the PLC from Gate 10-90Analysing and improving existing productsSupport of sales and project management in customer service

QualifikationenAcademic degree in Engineering or equivalentSeveral years experience in the automotive industry, including customer interactionExperience in direct customer contactKnowledge about OESL related products in design, production, testingExperience in research and development as product development engineer, design engineer or project managerAbility to work independently and self-motivatedExperiences in international and intercultural environmentVery good English language skills (written and spoken)Strong team player and good communicator at various levelsWillingness to travel
