Partner with the best
As Application Engineer - COE, you will own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation. Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the customer's expectations, to develop optimised technical and commercial proposals for Baker Hughes Valves.
As Application Engineer – COE, you will be responsible for:
Developing proposals, negotiating with customers, ensuring deals deliver shareholder value, and driving competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.Handling standardised products with pre-defined options.Contributing to predefined contracts, and a framework of conditions and prices is set.Handling targeted clientsDiscussing the sales approach with the manager.Leading a department with medium personnel costs.Handling low-medium region size, stable region, and established market presence.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have BE/BTech OR ME/MTech in Mechanical/ Production/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 0-3 years’ experience in Sales/Proposal in the Industrial Valves or Oil & Gas Industry.Be able to work with multi-functional, decentralised teamsHave Solid oral and written communication skills.Have interpersonal and leadership skills.Be able to work unconventionally and have good problem-solving skills.
