Emerson’s Crossridge facility is seeking an Application Engineer to play a key role in delivering solutions across our Electric and Pneumatic portfolio. In this fast-paced, customer-facing role, you’ll support quotations, order entry, and technical customer service while ensuring smooth coordination between Emerson and our customers. This position is ideal for someone diligent, collaborative, and eager to help customers find solutions that meet their needs!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Review customer specifications for application requirements and commercial terms and conditions Prepare quotations in response to customer inquiries; in accordance with controlled prices, discounts, terms & conditions as well as sales policies & procedures. Take exception where Emerson cannot meet either technical or commercial requirements Review customer purchase orders (Electric Actuators only) for accurate pricing, discounts, terms & conditions, part numbers and prepare for / complete associated order entry Respond to all customer requests for expedited emergency shipment of parts and service kits, documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and Specification Sheets Document customer complaints and refer to Quality Assurance Assist other departments in resolving issues related to customer sales and service Provide timely and proactive customer communications Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and retain ownership and oversight of the orders until they are acknowledged and submittal documents have been forwarded to the customer. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor of Science degree Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize different projects and meet deadlines independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with collaborators at all levels and ensure alignment on project work.
