We are now looking for an **Application Engineer** to join our engineering team and who will assist us in making a valuable difference in the century to come. We ensure that compressors continue to operate for years to come through maintenance plans, supply of OEM parts, service calls and equipment modifications to today's technology or changed operating conditions and repairs. The position is responsible for for the technical aspects of HTC compressor solutions by assessing customer needs by combining appropriate products and services. May visit clients to present the company's products/services. Has working technical knowledge of all phases of the activity. The role will be based in Zuidland (ZH) in the Netherlands and reporting in to the Manager Engineering. **_What Will You Do?_** + Discussing and translating customer requirements into technical solutions with a customer-focused mindset. + Studying customers RFQ’s. + Being in contact with customers on technical requirements. + Co-creating design concepts for the renewable hydrogen market, together with consultants and/or suppliers of complementary technology and equipment solutions. + Preparing the scope of technical proposal documents. + Assist during technical training of local CHART business units. **_What do you need to bring?_** + Relevant technical education (Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar). + Technical and commercial knowledge of the various components and phases of the solution design. + A continuous learning mindset about new Customer needs and market trends. + Excellent interpersonal skills, including an open and engaging communication style. + Ability to lead internal and external meetings. + Team player, responsible, flexible and a self-starter. + A technical-commercial Interest in a broad range of disciplines (rotating, mechanical, systems and processes). + Good at setting priorities and has strong time management skills. + Fluency in English. + Dutch language skills. **_What will you get in return?_** We offer the right candidate an interesting and challenging position with responsibility and impact within a professional and international environment in a successful company.
