Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Zeiss IMT software training for customers based on every course syllabus on site or at Demo center. Application engineer can provide all level training course based on the sales and after sales contract.Team work for a certain project and also support other engineers during the whole project, for example, off line programming, debugging on site and customer support on site. Every application engineer can finish self work on time.Trouble shooting according to the Zeiss IMT hotline’s schedule and provide the feedback. Application engineer must try to support the customer for trouble shooting by phone. If can not, engineer must feedback to hotline center for further support.Sales and after sales technical support for Zeiss IMT software and also can provide the corresponding software solution based on the requests. If can not provide the solution, application engineer must feedback to the supervisor to ask for technical help and continue for the solutions.Contract programming and measurement by self as per after sales’ contract and can provide them to customer and after sales on time. Application engineer must stand on the Demo center rules and regulations during the measurement. If probe tips had been broken or CMM shutdown, application engineer must feedback it to supervisor and also inform application assistant for record.Collect the potential sales info and then pass them to sales and after sales. During the training and visit, application engineer must have a strong sales awareness and do best to help IMT to finish the fiscal target.Maintain and improve the customer relationship, especial for VIP customer. Deal with the customer’s trouble actively.Collect and backup the customer technical data for better support in future. During the training, application engineer must collect all necessary info exactly and then pass them to application assistant within 10 days.Provide the detailed technical report for Zeiss software bug or skill. Whenever find the software bug or get the new training in Germany, application engineer must pass them to supervisor and share them with all application engineers.Stand on the Demo center rules and regulations and help supervisor to manage Demo center. Whenever find anyone get out of line, application engineer give them warning.If it’s not useful, application engineer must feedback to supervisor.Translate the technical materials and provide the necessary support for Chinese software. Application engineer must pay more attention to the translation and must ensure it’s reasonable and inerrant.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education / 教育背景

Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Automation

Experience /经验

Familiar with Geometric Metrology or Quality Inspection, CMMs experience is preferred.

Other skills /其他技能

Good English in reading, writing and good in speaking is preferred

Comprehensive computer knowledge with hardware and software

Good knowledge in CMM metrology

Good ability of self-learning and communication.

Strong awareness of customer service.

Team work and active work attitude.

Able to travel frequently on domestic and international business trips
