We are driven by honesty and act with integrity - #WhoAreU As our Application Engineer in Germany you will provide support to partners, end customers, and the sales team in Germany through application analysis, the development of technical concepts, feasibility assessments, and support during implementation utilizing Universal Robots. This role combines technical expertise with interpersonal skills, engaging with stakeholders in the field, within the team, and across the partner network. Key responsibilities: + Pre- and post-sales support to partners and customers in the region + Participation in technical visits (Line Walks) and preparation of application feasibility studies (Proof of Concept) + Creating and presenting concepts for UR robot-based solutions + Advising on application optimization - mechanical and programmatic + Collaboration with the sales and marketing team, participation in industry events (workshops, seminars, demonstrations) + Building and sharing technical knowledge - both internally and with partners + Representing the Universal Robots brand in the German market Qualifications and experience: You hold a technical education in automation, mechatronics, robotics or related. In addition, you have: + Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial robots, automated applications or systems integration + German language - at native level + English - at business level (B2+/C1) + Ability to work independently and plan activities in a dynamic environment + Willingness to travel for business up to 50% of the time, mainly domestically, with occasional international trips travel. + Additional advantages will be: + experience coordinating technical initiatives, projects or teams - we value individuals who can inspire others and have a strong sense of ownership, + Understanding of the role of technical support in business development - experience working close to sales or with channel partners is welcome. Preferred location for this job is between Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt - providing convenient access to key customers and partners in Germany. Our office is located in Munich, however this role is envisioned as a remote job, with an operational base in the above region.
