As an Application Engineer – Coiled Tubing Drilling , you will work closely with customers and supervise the daily operations of your team within the region. You'll provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of customer projects. You will play an essential role in identifying improvements to products, processes and procedures.
As an Application Engineer – Coiled Tubing Drilling, you will be responsible for:
Analyzing well data and client objectives to design coiled tubing job programs.Select appropriate BHA (Bottom Hole Assembly), tools, and fluids for each application.Performing simulations and risk assessments using coiled tubing modeling software (e.g., Cerberus, CTES, WellPlan).Providing real-time technical support during job execution, including troubleshooting and optimization.Collaborating with field supervisors to ensure adherence to job design and safety protocols.Participating in pre-job and post-job meetings with field and client teams.Conducting detailed post-job reviews, including performance metrics, lessons learned, and tool performance.Generating technical reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.Maintaining a database of job performance and tool reliability.Client & Commercial Interface
Supportting sales and business development teams with technical presentations and feasibility studies.Assisting in preparing technical proposals and tender documentation.Acting as a technical advisor during client meetings and audits.Staying updated on CTD technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.Contributing to internal knowledge bases, training materials, and best practices.Supporting R&D and tool development initiatives as needed.

This is needed to be successful in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Have 3–5 years of experience in Coiled Tubing or Well Intervention engineering roles.Have hands-on experience with coiled tubing drilling modeling tools and downhole tool design.Be familiar with drilling dynamics, wellbore hydraulics, and real-time data interpretation.Have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Have strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.Be able to demonstrate proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.Be Team-oriented with a proactive approach to field support and client engagement.
