Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience. + Experience working with Java. + Experience with computer programming. Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field. + Experience implementing, customizing, and integrating third-party applications within Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing, etc. + Experience with multiple full system implementation life cycles (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support). + Excellent people, communication, and analytical skills with a demonstrable bias toward action. You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs. Our development team works on a mix of third-party and Google built systems to efficiently move equipment into and out of Google's compute and networking sites across the globe. In this role, you’ll work on full stack development focused primarily on the backend. We mostly write code in Java and Angular/Typescript but also have machine learning models that use Python. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible.
