About the Role
We’re seeking a Lead Software Developer to help drive the technical direction of our internal development team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both building solutions and enabling others to do the same. You’ll guide development across automation platforms like UiPath, document processing tools like ABBYY FlexiCapture, and custom internal applications built with Python and SQL.
As our first lead developer, you’ll help shape engineering standards, mentor teammates, and bring clarity to complex technical problems across a wide range of projects—everything from robotic process automation to internal web tools and backend data workflows.
What You'll Do
Provide technical leadership across projects involving UiPath, ABBYY Flexicapture, Python, and SQL.Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable solutions for automation, data movement, and business process improvementPartner with business analyst and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical and effective implementationsTake ownership of project delivery—helping define timelines, track progress, and ensure solutions are delivered on time, with quality and alignment to business goalsMentor junior developers and contribute to skill-building within the teamDefine and promote development best practices, including source control, code reviews, testing, and documentationHelp establish architectural direction and technical strategy for our automation and app development initiativesTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across our tech stackWhat to Bring
5+ years of experience in software development or automation engineering, including:Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and application logicSolid experience writing SQL for data manipulation and queryingHands-on experience with UiPath, including orchestrator configuration and bot developmentFamiliarity with ABBYY FlexiCapture (template creation, rules, exports, etc.)Ability to work across the full lifecycle of a solution: design, develop, test, deploy, and supportComfort working in a hybrid technical environment that spans custom code, RPA platforms, and document understanding toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when translating business needs into technical solutionsA passion for automation, process improvement, and helping others grow Bonus Points
